Louis T. Roth & Co. is pleased to announce that James M. Acton, Esq., Rachael V. Bivens, and Amanda “Mandy” L. Niehoff, CPA have all been promoted to staff accountant advanced.
All three Louis T. Roth & Co. team members previously served as staff accountants. Niehoff has been with the firm since 2015; Acton and Bivens, since 2016.
“James, Rachael, and Mandy are valuable members of our firm, and we feel that now is the right time for them to take the next step in their careers,” said Barry Christensen, CPA, PFS, Managing Partner and CEO of Louis T. Roth & Co. “I am confident they will utilize this opportunity to grow as professionals while maintaining their dedication to our clients and our firm.”
Acton is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association. He currently resides in Louisville, Kentucky, and enjoys spending his free time playing tennis and kickboxing.
In her role as staff accountant advanced, Bivens is responsible for preparing and reviewing individual, business, trust, estate and not-for-profit tax returns. She attended the University of Louisville, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2016. While in school, she co-founded the University of Louisville chapter of Delta Sigma Pi; she remains involved with her alma mater as a member of the school’s Alumni Association. A resident of Louisville, Kentucky, Bivens currently devotes the majority of her free time to preparing for the CPA exam.
A graduate of the University of Louisville, Niehoff earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2013. She went on to attend Northern Kentucky University, receiving a Master of Accounting in 2015. Niehoff currently resides in Louisville, Kentucky. A self-described bourbon enthusiast, she enjoys spending her free time doing yoga and taking long walks with her dog.
